Material & Appearance

1-1. Material

a. The plasticizer DEHP is not chemically bonded to the PVC molecular structure. When in contact with water or fat-soluble liquids, it can easily leach from the material into the liquid.
b. DEHP has potential hazards such as carcinogenicity and reproductive toxicity. Many countries have banned the use of DEHP in medical products.
c. This disposable enteral feeding set uses DINCH, a new type of plasticizer. Its leachability is minimal, it does not accumulate in the body, meets medical-grade product standards, and is suitable for patients requiring enteral nutrition.

1-2. Product Color Differentiation
The tubing of this disposable enteral feeding set features a peanut milk tea color, distinctly different from intravenous (IV) tubing. This helps prevent the medical error of inadvertently administering enteral formula intravenously.
